A vigil of solidarity for the recently desecrated Hebrew Cemetery in Fall River will take place on Tuesday, March 26 at 5:30 p.m. at the cemetery, 73 McMahon St., Fall River.

The vigil will be led by Rabbi Mark Elber and Cantor Shoshanna Brown of Temple Beth El in Fall River. Those in attendance will include members of the Jewish, Christian and Muslim communities as well as members of the Jewish War Veterans, VFW, Massachusetts National Guard and others.

For those interested, Shalom Memorial Chapel, 1100 New London Ave., Cranston, will lead a procession to the vigil, departing the Chapel at 3 p.m. Carpooling is encouraged, as the cemetery has limited parking.
